The problem with keeping temperatures low (below 100 degrees F) during vacuum purge of cannabis oil is the oil/shatter becomes too thick after a time and will no longer release butane bubbles. The only recourse I have found is to increase the temperature by several degrees to complete purging. A few more days of vacuum purging to about 130 degrees F is necessary to fully remove all residual butane. I purge for 7 days solid before I'm done. To be certain purging is complete I use a lighter to ignite the oil collected on a safety pin until there are no sparks or flare ups at all.

Sure, some people start with a lower temp and gradually raise it to fully remove the butane (130F is ok). Thanks for sharing your method with us!
