Pizza is a traditional dish that enjoys enormous popularity around the world and is regularly found at lunchtimes, during parties, and get-togethers with friends. Preparing a cannabis-infused "Space Pizza" will add a unique touch to our appetizers or dinners, making it both appetizing and psychoactive. Cannabis pizza has become one of the most beloved specialties in Asian countries like Cambodia and Vietnam, where it is sold as Happy Pizza.
To start with the Happy Pizza, you will first need to prepare a base of olive oil enriched with cannabis: this fat will absorb the cannabinoids present in cannabis (whether from buds or from a hashish extraction ), and we can use it later to make the pizza, with olive oil being one of the most important ingredients of this Italian specialty.

Preparing the cannabis pizza
Pizza can be infused with weed at different stages; we'll detail the recipe for each option, but of course, it's not recommended to add weed at every stage. It's preferable to add it at one or two stages, unless the oil has a low concentration of active ingredients. Here's the recipe for how to prepare cannabis oil so you'll have everything ready before you start cooking your tasty (and potent) pizza.
As you'll see below, you can enrich your pizza dough with cannabis, although you can also do the same with tomato sauce. Of course, you can do neither and simply add your cannabis oil once the pizza is cooked, as is often done with spicy oil in many Italian restaurants. Our advice is always the same: it's best to start with a low dose and gradually add more oil (or prepare a more potent one) for future occasions in case you want a more intense effect.
Recipe for cannabis-enriched vegetable oil
Cannabis-infused olive oil is one of the pillars of modern cannabis cuisine: a fusion of Mediterranean tradition and the art of herbal infusion. In this recipe, you'll discover how to prepare your own cannabis oil step by step, preserving its aroma, potency, and balance to enjoy in sweet or savory dishes with a natural and conscious touch.
1. Cannabinoid-enriched pizza dough
Ingredients for a pizza:
- 200 g of flour
- 4 tablespoons of cannabis olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of warm milk
- 5 g of fresh baker's yeast
- Salt
- Half a teaspoon of sugar
In a mixing bowl, mix the yeast with a tablespoon of warm water, add salt, and a teaspoon of sugar. Dilute with one or two additional tablespoons of warm water, cover, and let stand for 10 to 15 minutes.
In a salad bowl, mix the flour with the cannabis-infused olive oil, milk, and a pinch of salt. Add the yeast-based mixture and knead for about ten minutes, adding warm water as needed, until you have a smooth, elastic dough that isn't too sticky.

Cover the salad bowl with a cloth and store it in a warm place for 1 to 2 hours. The dough for your Happy Pizza is now ready!
2. Tomato sauce with cannabis
- 1 large tomato
- 50 grams of tomato paste
- Half an onion
- 5 green olives
- 4 tablespoons of cannabis olive oil
- Thyme, rosemary, white pepper
- Optional: uncompressed hashish
In a pan, brown the chopped onion in olive oil with the garlic clove and chopped olives. Once the onions are lightly browned, add the diced tomato with the spices, herbs, and a pinch of salt (you can also add one or two teaspoons of powdered cannabis resin, or use cannabis oil). Cover and simmer for a few minutes.
Dissolve the tomato paste in a glass of warm water and pour it into the mixture. Let it cook for fifteen minutes, adding water or broth if the sauce reduces too quickly.

Preparing the space pizza
The fun part about pizza is being able to combine countless flavors according to your preferences. It's impossible to create a unique recipe; however, you can marinate the ingredients of your choice in cannabis-infused olive oil for a few hours, seasoning with salt, pepper, and other aromatic herbs. As mentioned before, you can also prepare the pizza normally and add your cannabis oil once it's cooked.
Thus, mushrooms, onions, bacon, ham, or mozzarella can be scented with weed, although we can also, more quickly, sprinkle a thread of cannabis oil on the pizza before baking it for approximately 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 200°C.

To add the finishing touch and make the medicinal content of the pizza visible, we can sprinkle some finely ground weed to give it a stronger cannabis flavor (depending on preference, best after cooking, to enjoy the properties of the cannabinoids in their raw form and thus prevent the herb from burning).
